Verizon Wireless sent a monthly newsletter email to 14-16 million customers. The newsletter was meant to educate customers and inform them on new services but customers were consistently calling customer service about things the newsletter was discussing. Overall the newsletter had a low open rate and customer who did open the newsletter, were not engaged with the content or clicking on the links.
Developed a themed monthly newsletter that educated Verizon Wireless customers using real life situations they would be interested in. The goal was to give the customers a real use for the information that was provided.
